  1. Take it out every time you go into the water and then put it back on again when you get out of the water.

  2. pls dont 4 hygiene purposes...i knw hw crappy that must be but u will hav oyher days at the beach

  3. not really. you can get some tablets from the doctors that stop you having a period while you are on holiday. that would be so  much betteer for you.

  4. its better not to wear one in the water have one handy for when you come out

  5. Have you ever seen a toddler in a nappy in the water? The same thing will happen to you. http://pms.about.com/od/hygiene/a/tampon...

    These sites may help.

If you can't use non-applicator brands have you tried the ones with them?

Don't tense up, you won't hurt yourself because if it starts to hurt you are just aiming slightly wrong. Use a finger to guide the tip.

If you are using applicator ones give it a slight twist before hand to unlock the two sections.

  6. Your period does NOT stop in the water. The pressure from the water may keep it from flowing outside the body, so it will build up. When you get out and the pressure is released, your flow will have to go somewhere. Unless you're wearing a tampon or menstrual cup, it could be very messy and embarrassing.

  7. It wouldn't be advisable to put one on if you were wearing a costume. What about the bulge and wings? As for going in water then don't. First, it's not nice for other people in that water and second, it would likely swell up and you'll look like you have a brick in your gusset!

Just keep trying with tampons. Don't forget the vaginal wall is on an angle so this may be why your having trouble. Squat on the floor and try to put it in. That makes it a little easier. If you still can't do it then ask a friend or a nurse at your local practise next time you go.

  8. not really because it will go soggy and rthen the white stuff of the pad will start to come of and tht isnt pleasent for everyone or you so no. But the preasure of the water stops your period depending how heavey your period is. Sorry hope this helped  x*x

  9. No......... i wouldn't............ for one it could come unstuck and start floating around and it's not very hygienic for the other swimmers in the water.

If you do decide to do it then of course you would have to change it because it would be soaking wet !!!!

I think you should try using the tampons or just stay out of the water.
