I'm highly confused. Isn't it Labour that are letting too many foreigners into England and handing out passports like free condoms? ..or would the tories be even worse?

..and before you slate me for being a racist bigot, I'm a foreigner myself, just very interested in UK politics

  1. For a start - it wasn't a Labour poster.

Sorry, but I think you'll find that was a poster used by the tories in the run up to the 2005 election, this led to them being accused of racial hatred at the time

Here's a link to back this up:

  2. Mass immigration from Asia, Europe and Africa is the biggest disaster ever to happen to  once great Britain. It is a form of collective madness and has resulted in the giving away of the UK. Future generations will pay a harsh price for this disaster

  3. Mass immigration is purely an economic issue. The 'racist' word is so over used (and often incorrectly).

Yes new labour does seem to have no control over immigration legal or illegal.

Which ever party gets in would be hard pressed to do a worse job than this government.

  4. Sorry, that was a Tory poster.

  5. Tories are always traditionally harder on immigration. So vote them in ASAP !!! lol.

  6. I am not racist but I remember my father telling me that Enoch Powell said when you see the black man walking across the bridge shoot him as they will take over the country - what do you think would happen if Gordon Brown said something like that today?? They say its the Labour parties fault but I think it goes further back than them and no matter who was in government I don't think anything would be done.

  7. Let us be honest!Labour come up with all these sort of slogans just before a General  Election!Just headline grabbers that is all they are!

  8. You shouldn't shoot him when he's walking over the bridge becuase he's black, you should wait and see what language he's speaking.

  9. Being opposed to immigration is not the same thing as being racist.

Being racist means that you consider one race to superior to another.

Wanting limits on immigration means you are concerned about the numbers of people entering a country and want to regulate this.

Labour won't impose limits on immigration because they fear being seen as "racist".

  10. Yeah, but that poster was probably put out before they obtained political power, and like all political parties, once they are in power, they tend to change their minds and policies..No doubt the Tories will be the same

  11. That was before Labour decided it would pander to the minorities and the EUrocrats, who would rather we let any one in.

Personally, I think the Tories would be better, but we can't really tell until they get into office - who knows if they will stick with their policies; labour certainly havn't.

  12. They can't impose strict limits, in this Politicaly Correct loony bin we all live in there would be an immediate cry of "racists" from the human rights and equality organisations.

You can tell how far down the highway of insanity we've gone by the opening sentence used by all politicians when broaching the subject of immigration "I'm not a racist"
