In the seventies a pair of Converse Allstars cost about eight dollars, I made 1.25 per hour.  When you adjust for inflation we are paying just a bit more than then for gas.

Yep a 3 packs of smokes were a dollar.KFC had cluck for a buck. Our money has no value.Every Republican Pres. borrows and prints paper.

that was before my time i was born but the times have changed since then.  if gas was a 1.009 a gallon right now everyone would take a road trip some where.
