Does anyone know who that player was he was trying to correct? I think I remember JC saying 'thats not what you do here'? Know where I can see it again?

  1. I'm sure it was John Mcenroe, because they faced each other a lot, and I think they played each other 2 times at Wimbledon.

  4. It was John McEnroe for sure.  I remember Jimmy walking past the umpires seat towards McEnroe who was seated.  Connors just pointed his finger at him and scolded him for a little bit.  I wish I could remember what it was about.

I don't know, but Jimmy Connors is not one to point fingers or tell anybody to stop throwing a fit.  He's thrown plenty of his own in his career, including being the first player to be defaulted from a match for code violations.  But the other posters who said it was McEnroe are correct, I think.
