I removed some red kool-aid stains from my light beige carpet, and now have white spots where the kool-aid was

Are there any carpet dyes I can use on these spots?

  1. Check to see if what you used had any type of bleach in it. If so you're stuck.

    Buy the biggest box of crayola crayons you can find at a store and try matching the color. You may have to mix them ot get the right one. Color over the spots. Sometimes the carpet fibers wilabsorbrb some of the crayon color. You may have to do this periodically to keep the spots covered so make sure you remember what colors you use.


  2. How did you remove the stains?

    Are you sure there just isn't some of the carpet cleaner still in there?

    Try soaking and blotting with plain water about 5 times. Allow to dry thoroughly. Then observe if the white spots are still there.
