  1. well my friend  if   the hen only hatched one baby chick after 21 days     the eggs were either to old  got to hot or to cold.. and  if she didnt hatch   them out after22-23 days  those eggs arent going to hatch your wasting your time .  the eggs must be kept at 99 degrees at all time  in order for them to hatch  . alos    another problem could be  the eggs werent all fertile  which can be caused by  to many roooster trying to breed one hen , and if    you have only one rooster  his sperm count  could be low do to  such warm  temp  this time of year.  its best to breed and hatch in cooler  weather.

  2. It is best to let a broody hen care for the eggs.  She is the perfect heat and will rotate them just right.

It might be too late to put them back.  Unless you have a hen that is very broody.  broody means she wants to be a mother and all she does is sit in the box on her eggs.  Not all hens are broody.  So if she is not then you are going to have to incubate them.  It is best to use a real incubator.

I think it is over for these eggs.  Next time just let the hen do her thing.  Or get a real incubator.

  3. At this point I doubt  they will hatch.  There has been too much varience in the temperature and too much time has gone by.  You can put them back with no harm done to the hen
