I replaced the clutch master cylinder and the slave cylinder and i cant get air out , fluid level not drop?

bleeding 92 escort master cylinder and slave cylinder cant get air out of the line also fluid level not got down I spent all day doing this

  1. if the level isn't going down you aren't opening the bleeder far enough.

    what method are you using to bleed it?  do you have someone in the car pumping the pedal for you?

The first step you must to do is to have a trial test for the new one clutch master cylinder before installing it, by putting fluid oil inside the cylinder then push the rod slowlly until it works with high pressure. Then install now the master cylinder to its proper position connecting to the slave(secondary) cylinder. Open the bleedder bolt and remain open for few minutes while putting brake fluid to its resevoir tank.

    Now push your foot pedal slowly for several times until level drop to little amount. Let somebody close the bledder while your footpedal push on the floor. Let you pump footpedal manytimes maximum of 15 times then open the bleeder again while your foot steady on the floor. Refill fluid in the reservoir.

    Repeat the job until foodtpedal is in good working condition like before. It means no air already in the system.
