I rescently went to Six Flags for the first time and got on every ride but Goliath, can someone fill me in?

so I had a great time on all the other rides, I got on all of the crazy ones except Goliath, I saw how HUGE it was and was really intimidated, it looked so huge, and the drop looked soooo steep, I was really scared of that one so I decided not to get on it, but I want to know from someone who has already gone on it, how bad is it? or how fast? or how scary? I really want to know because I want to conquer my fear of Goliath

You know what? You're not alone... You couldn't have stated what I think about Goliath everytime I've been to Magic Mountain or drove past it.

I'll go on any other rollercoaster BUT Goliath! (Well, the two times I've been) Actually, I won't go on Superman either for the same reasons.

Are you afraid of heights? I think that's what my problem is. That sucker is 290 feet tall! That's counting the underground tunnel, too.

I really enjoy rollercoasters, but hate climbing up that first hill because of the whole height thing.

I hear it's pretty fun... Lots of weightlessness, which isn't quite my favorite. I hear after the first drop that you're good. It goes a whopping 85mph.

I really want to conquer it as well!

I've been on Goliath many times and although it looks intimidating it's a blast!  If you can ride the other rides there...like Viper and Batman and Xtreme then you can conquer your fear of Goliath.
