I am a skilled parenting instructor and not seeking any employment as such.

However, I am interested in volunteering my time free to families and businesses that would enjoy having it. Its an informative and fun class (12 all together).

My question and my problem is, is that I do not have an appropriate (and free) office space or meeting location to provide it (for 20-30 parents) What's my options? Actually, I'm looking for your additional ideas and suggestions that prehaps I have not considered yet...thank you for you help.

  1. Public schools, community centers, and churches often make their meeting spaces/classrooms available at off hours.

  2. A room in a PUBLIC school?  or sometimes the Red Cross will provide for the type of class you're willing to teach.

Or perhaps there is a building that has been vacated recently, the owner might have a lower insurance rate  to pay if it is occupied..maybe you could get it just because...

Some of our banks have meeting rooms...as you would be providing a community service you just might get one free..

    Check with the churches...

  3. Is there a park district, Moose lodge or VFW in your area. You may also want to see if there is a community center available. You will have to reserve space and maybe leave a refundable deposit but generally these are free. Sounds like a wonderful service you can offer. I would certainly attend if it was in my area.
