I ride this horse 4 a woman and he is always good for me and never good for her...?

this horse is like an angel for me then when the lady who owns him rides him he trys to buck her off. the lady does the same things as me wen she rides and he is still a pain in the butt. we are the same hight and weigh about the same. why do u think he would be doing this?

Zippo is right....You have probably shown more authority with the horse....horses definitely react to a rider's confidence....for example...when  I used to ride my horse, she would be pretty frisky, wanting to canter around etc then I would chuck on my little sister & she wouldn't even trot! She would be an angel!....The owner needs to get a tougher I'm afraid....

As you probably know, horses react to how the rider feels emotionally. Maybe the lady is scared or mad or sad or some kind of other emotion that the horse is feeding off of.

Or as others have said, you have a more aggressive/assertive personality, and the horse is responding to that.

I deff think its because you show more authority around him. If she is afraid of him or not showing him who's the boss he will perform better for you than her. from personal experiences i have found that when i first get on a horse the horse will refuse to do what i want to till i show it who is the boss.

maybe because you've showed him who is boss, and he can tell his owner is afraid of him.

i personally dont think horses hate certain people. unless they've done harm

its hard to tell, people cant be positive. but horses can be like people, like some, dont like others.

he might just like the way you ride, you might ride a little bit smoother, she might be hard on his back, or on his mouth

i really am not sure... you can never tell unless she does something to him that he doesnt like

well if your more expierienced he will sence it and automatically give you respect.If you spend time with him more he might understand you better.

Also if she has never shown him who was boss he will think he is the boss.If you niticed the boss can throw anybody! It might be a good idea for them to joinup . Some horses just clash with the owners and they could both be stubborn

omg theres plenty of reasons . one could be that hes a picky horse and can tell who's been riding longer and knows there stuff, or it could be that he knows the owner is scared  or maybe hes bonded with you more

a horse can remember and if this lady has done any harm to him then he might not ever learn to trust him again of cource there is the possible misshape of for getting to brush the horse off and a sticker can be under the saddle blacket so always check that also if the lady shows any weakness or fear twords the horse he will notice and take advantage of it and buck her off   just remember to double check the horse before saddling and the lady might want to spend extra time with the horse so he can learn to trust her and learn who is boss good luck with every thing

some horses match better with some people. I once rode an arabian who was perfect for one of my friends, but TERRIBLE for me. Yet another time I rode a paint who was an angel for me, but awful for my friend. The horse chooses the rider as much as the rider chooses the horse!
