Ok, so I have started running 2 miles a day on my street every morning, this is a sufficient workout for me right now. I would like to get up to about 5 miles a day. Based on the fact that I am a full-grown, 14 year old girl, any ideas on what increments I should go up on, and how frequently. I am a jump roper, so running is really different and difficult for me, but I would like to increase my endurance, thanks!

  1. increase each day. not by a mile or anything but maybe run longer each day, 5 to 6 minutes more each day until you get to 5 miles, well it depends on how fast you run a mile. just a word of advice take it easy. i had a best friend who was in track for a year and had to get knee replacement surgery

  2. you will succeed! increase gradually from 2 to 3 and then maybe an extra mile wevery two weeks until you area at 5!

  3. increase this week by week so tht u dun over work ur body...increase lil by lil though

  4. Join Cross Country.. it should be starting very soon at your high school.. and its a very good way to increase your indurance because your running with other people.
