Question:

I run for about 30 minutes a day at good pace *like 7 minute miles* will i lose shape if i just relax all day?

when im not running i sit on my couch and watch TV or play online poker......will i lose shape by not being active all day?

  1. No but bear in mind the training principle of reversibility. You lose the effects of training on you body in 1/3 of the time it took to gain! One day wont have that great of an impact, but 1 week or more and you will start to see the effects of not training!

    one day's rest is good for you!

    but don't just be lazy all the time...

    that's when the problems happen...eventually.

    but if you're keeping a healthy diet, and excersizing every other day for at least thirty minutes, you'll be fine&dandy :)

  5. when training for a marathon it is said one week of rest takes two weeks of training to get back, but your not constantly running with a month + break at the end and its only one day so no.

    I would suggest running 3-5 times a week and do some arm and ab excersises

  6. If you're only active 30 minutes a day and sedentary the rest you will not be in good shape.  You don't have to be running, but get away from the computer and off the couch.  Walk, do yard work, whatever.

  7. stop eating them subs from quick check mad carbs.
