told this girl in class that i lost interest in her friend ( i was just kidding, but i forgot to tell her that i was just kidding), now i don't know what to do because i really like the girl (and I'm not even close to losing interest), I'm scared the girl will tell her friend what i said. I know she (the girl) likes me and i like her to.

what do i do?
