good, no one will bother me here, Landlord even said, "all that will stay here is this pick-up camper in your one of your 4 parking stalls (my yard is big enough to park 3 cars now) because I put my tools in there to fix things around here and those 3 bikes belong to the guy that lives in the front house on the other side of the your fence but I'm going to tell him to get them out of here now, so after I paid first and last and moved in, turns out the guy in the front house says he needs access to the back of his house by coming in through my yard to get back there, I told him no, maybe in an emergency only so your going to have to get back there through your back kicthen door, but now landlord wants him to have access, through my yard. how can I put a stop to this? as his kids already stole something from me but he's telling me to prove it, plus his bikes are still in here with a large red picnic table and his trash can and a couple of other things, 3 bikes has grown. And now he wants to park in my driveway, I live in the back, so I have to honk and wait for him to come out, back out again let him out, then I can come back in. any good advice? not to mention that when my wife comes home from work at 10:pm she can't even see in the dark much less have to back out agian for him to get out so she can come in and she can't even back up, she goes back crooked come back, tries again, comes back, get the picture?

  1. I think you need to sit down with this guy and draw up a legal contract.  When you rent a place the first thing of importance is free access to it.

    Good luck

  2. i would say you need to call your landlord on his word if not he will continue to take advantage of your relationship.come to a compromise but the only legal thing you can do since your renting is call the police and report trespassing even though your renting you have a right to a secure environment

  3. USA    If the guy in the front house does not bother you by having access through your yard, try to negotiate a lower rent, because things are now different than when you agreed to the rental.  Also, ask the landlord to have the other person's stuff removed, and ask him to stop the other guy from blocking the car in.  Hopefully, the landlord will resolve the issues.

    If not:

If the landlord allows the other guy access, there is not too much you can do to prevent it.  However, legally he cannot block your vehicle in.  Call the police every time he does.  Hopefully that will stop it.

I would tell the neighbor to remove his stuff from your yard.  If he does not, it is legally yours.  Put the stuff out front with a FOR SALE sign on it.  Use the bikes, go for a bike ride.  Put your trash in his can.  Use the picnic table.
