  1. the only thing you can do from overseas is log onto abc radio nsw...... and listen to it live

  2. I am in the US. Setanta Sports which is actually an Irish based satelitte company do broadcast 1 game a week  but I am not sure if they have a presence in China - but if you have dodgy tech head friends - like I do but in Australia only :( - then it is possible to set up a dish and get in.

Otherwise on Bigpond you can view the game - but a week or two later. I don't know how technical you are but a couple of choices -

    1) I am getting a mate to set up a server in Australia, I am then going to use that as my proxy to trick the bigpond site into believing I am still in Australia. I can't help you there as we also will use the proxy for other things and do not want to give people log on access other than a few :)  There are public anonymous proxies around in Australia that could be used for the same purpose - but generally the traffic throughput acts as a bottle neck. Probably wont use it for League long, but is good to be able to have other web sites think you are elsewhere :)

    2)  You can also buy a box like a Slingbox. Essentially connect them to a TV outlet and they act as a personal streaming device to whatever is on the TV over the internet to you.  Simply need to log on and you can change channel etc and live stream the TV picture. Not sure on the price as we happened to "acquire" one that is on transit to Oz at the moment - to set up at my folks. So pick one up in China and ship it back. www.slingmedia.com.  They are a good idea as after the initial cost for the box - you can stream whatever you want for free. Just looked - cost is $129 US - but should be cheaper where you are - plus you can buy a "China" special rip-off.

Other than that there is always 2GB radio. Also depends on how long you are in China. I am here for several years - so want it ready to go - and it will be worth it.
