I saw a star yesterday..?

and the same star the night before. It was very close to the moon. I just started staring at the sky every night..will the star I saw stay there?

  1. Yes, it will; but the moon won't. It orbits the earth once a month (which is in fact the origin of the word "month").


  2. no,becuse earth is revolving ,so it will change its position w.r.t. the star too.

    since it takes more time for revolution,so you can see that star at almost the same position for few days.,but few months after,if u still remember of the star,please watch it,identify it,it will be at a different position according to me.
