    However stationary stores do not move by definition, stationery stores are usually said to re-locate.

  6. I'm guessing he didn't actually watch a store physically pick up and move, like a human being. The one location must have closed in favor of a supposedly better location. Lame answer, I know. I know what he means, and it sounds funny, but I have a bad happen of being logical--usually.
