I saw a weird bug in my moms apartment...

Question

it's like 1/2 inches long and its black and i don't know if it flys cause it was walking really really slow on the floor and i have a pic of it after i killed it but i dont know how to get the pic on here...it kinda looked like a big ant with wings...does anyone know what kind of bug it might be?

It could be a termite or a Carpenter ant.

Difficult to identify without photo.  If you see another don't "squash" it.

Save in small bottle or plastic bag and ask exterminator
