  1. don't he mean Jan 1 2013.  the reason for that is because the mayans calender only goes up to 2012.  so many ppl believe  that since a ancient tribe died from unknown means.  we should give up on any plans farther then 2013

  2. Dont worry, just a scaremonger. And the thumbs up is probably from a troll.

  3. Don't worry about it. I cannot tell you how many times the world has been supposed to come to an end. :)

  4. Day of reckoning perhaps.

  5. He means that he thinks we are all going to die December 21, 2012.

  6. Some people think the world will end in 2012 because they think the ancient Mayan calendar predicts that. They are wrong. Every year there are many people who say they know the world will end soon and they are warning us to be ready. But they are all crazy or just stupid. None of those past predictions has come true and neither will this one.

  7. All of the people that mentioned the mayans are correct. But, it makes you think that if they could not even predict their own downfall then how could they predict ours??

  8. just chill

i think this guy's just fooling around.............

  9. I know what it means. My friend has been buging me and saying " A guy on the internet who predicted 9/11 said we are going to die in 2012". I don't belive a word that guy said.

  10. Just some nutter.  Don't worry how the h**l would they know. The worlds been coming to an end by someone hundreds of times.  It's just garbage.

  11. He saw it on Assassin's Creed and thought, hey, I can use that:

    Q. What does 12212012 mean?

    A. It may be easier if we call it 21122012, for this number's a date. Specifically, 21 December 2012. It's a hugely important date, for it marks the 'end of the world as we know it'. The ancient Mayan civilisations used the Mesoamerican Long Count calendar (incidentally, we use the Gregorian calendar), and a significant event is supposed to take place. In Assassin's Creed this event is obvious, and it also tells us when the game takes place.

Reading through Vidic's emails you'll see that Abstergo must 'launch' on 21 December. It is safe, then, to say that the 'present day' antics take place in September 2012, and that Abstergo wish to launch the satellite on 21/12/2012 to begin the new era in control of mankind.

  12. Mayan Calendar hocus pocus.

The Mayans had a complex way of keeping track of time, carved in hyroglyphics on the walls of buildings. Their calendar was circular, when it reaches a certain number they started again from zero. But it reaches its end again in 2012.

A few (very few) people think that this forcasts the end of the world on 21/12/12. Bit like the Nostradamus stuff that gets in the papers now and again. There's a book on it and a few websites. The Maya would just start again from zero, as they did a few times since their civilisation began. But as they all died in a massive drought (and ensuing civil wars and collapse of govt.) in the 9th century they're no longer around to comment on this.

Wouldn't be surprised if the Nostradamus nuts and book of revelations wierdos had something similar.

    Ignore it.

  13. What was he thinking? it's totally wrong! the correct date is December 12, 2012

  14. people are saying a asteroid like the "KT" who wiped the dinosaurs will hit on December...................................

    don't worry it's all rubbish!!!

  15. He is referring to the Mayan calendar which some historians say predicts the end of the world around that time.

  16. Some religious nut like Jehovah's Witnesses or something that so desparte for the world to end because they're such nice charitable people. They hope that they will go straight to heaven whilst the rest of us burn in h**l forever...so much for forgiving christians eh?

  17. Oh, haven't you heard?

  18. Sounds like cultish scargmongery - but the numbers are vaguely interesting: 21/12/12 or 12/21/12 (depending if your in uk or usa) Perhaps it means something to mathematicians!
