I saw on the news today that the catfish were leaving the water and WALKING on land in Florida,global warming?

do you think that that maby it is a sighn that bush said that it was o.k to drill offshore and the fish realise that it is going to happen ,and are runing for there lives to protect the future of the catfish? or is it because the water tempeture is too much for them ?or is it because of natuaral evelution ,to become a land animal?

i'm not sure about the credibility of the story...but GLOBAL WARMING is a fact. And, yes, it is the survival of the fittest...animals must acclimate to survive (though it takes many generations for it to happen).

you should google the story about frogs dying off because of the change in climates.

That species of catfish walks on land to go to different water bodies, or migration, etc.  It doesn;t have anything to do with global warming... they were doing it long before man evolved from apes.

I think the catfish are on a march to the White House, to protest GLOBAL WARMING, and the offshore drilling deal. They have HAD it!!! They are taking matters into their own hands (fins). The catfish cant stand it anymore, they figure that the earth will become one big frying pan, with them being the main course in a world wide fish fry.

The fish being discussed  is an african walking fish. They were imported by pet shops decades ago. Some were let go, or simply got out of their tank and left.There are only a few species of lung fish that I am aware of, and they do not live on land. the walking fish I am familiar with were usually albino. The news item doesn't tell more that a funny story to sell at prime time. This has nothing to do with drilling.Also, fish are instinctive, they have no true intelligence.
