I saw the dark knight a month or so ago and i dont remember if the joker had a motto?

The joker's motto was "Why so serious". This is because the scar he had made it look like a permanent smile. Thus he never looked serious.

I think it would just be Why So Serious? He always has someones plan turn upon itself so he can manipulate that plan into his liking.

he didn't really have an intentional motto, but it's become "why so serious?"

Hmm...well he didn't really have a motto but he was chock full of good quotes.  Here are some of my favorites:

I know I got carried away..but I LOVE this movie!!!
