I saw this bird?

I saw a bird that looked like a robin except a little thinner, It's back was grayish brown with white bars.It's sides were a buffish peach color, is this a robin? Thanks

I think that is a robin.

Bear in mind that the males and females of many bird species look different.  Often times, the males are more colorful, and larger.  The males' bright colors attract the females during mating season, and it draws predators from the mothers and their eggs.
