I saw this guy wear a gold band on his ring finger on his right hand? what does this say about him?

its not a college class ring is it?

I just thought that was unusual, because I though married people wear on the left hand.

  4. It could mean he is european, and married. They wear their wedding bands on the right hand. (German, Russian etc)

    Or it could mean that he is married and wants to cheat so thought putting it on the other hand would fool people.

    Or it could mean that he has a family heirloom eg ring belonging to his father, grandfather etc.

    It could be a love ring or promise ring given to him by his girlfriend.

    He could simply be wearing it because he likes it........

    There are any number of reasons. Why dont you just ask him if you are that interested?

  13. A LOT of other countries wear their wedding band on the right hand.  In fact some use the wedding band as their engagement ring, as well.  

    Or he's left handed & the ring is more comfortable on the right hand...or he's widowed.

  17. In some countries wearing your ring on your right means that your divorced. Also wearing your right on your right hand in some countries is a sign of respect if you lost a father figure.

    Where my fiance is from, he grew up in siberia along the monglian border...There are Russian people who look asian,..In Russia when married, you wear your band on your right hand.

    Look at Russia, It covers Half of asia and half of Europe.

    My friend married a Russian guy, but looks asian.

  20. I know some guys who used to be married and would wear their wedding ring on their left hand.  Then they got divorced but didn't want to get rid of the ring so they wear it on the right hand now.  

    It could mean a number of things or it could mean nothing.  I wouldn't put too much thought into it unless you want to ask him out.
