  1. Cyclists were around before motor cars but the aggressive petrol heads seem to think they own the roads.Saying that i`ve seen some bad behavior by bike riders (not true cyclists) bullying pedestrians on the pavement. I`ve been tempted to nudge one or two with the wing of my car when they do swerve back into the road. No , I would`nt really but I can dream.

Was`nt David Cameron seen going down a one way street the wrong way ,recently?

  2. When on the footpath, unless signed otherwise, I walk my bicycle.

I prefer to ride on the road, because my bike is my main vehicle, and there are few off-road bicycle facilities available ( and not that many bike lanes either).

If done with some common sense, basic traffic handling  &  bike handling skills, cycling is quite safe.

  3. Like David who?

Like most cyclists the road I would guess.

  4. All real cyclists ride where they belong, on the road.  Those who ride on pavements are a menace to everyone and the worst kind of advertising for cycling, the practice must be eradicated wherever it occurs.

  5. If you have a problem with cyclists on the pavement report it to the police, don't come here whinging about it.

  6. Most people where I live ride on the road, with no lights or cycle helmet.

  7. strictly speaking, unless designated a cycle path or park, going on pavements is illegal and you can face a £30 fine if stopped by the fuzz. however, it doesn't stop most lol

  8. Keep death of the road, ride on the pavement.
