I say pikachu is a girl but people think different...?

well i say pikachu is a girl but my guy friend says that she is a boy...

i just wanted to know what other people thought and because in some of the pokemon episodes, ash calls her a a girl

well, Pikachu is a boy (definitely!) cause in pokemon diamond and pearl, Dawn catches a buneury and the buneury starts to flirt with pikachu (if you saw that episode ash and dawn was battling, ash was using pikachu and dawn was using her buneury, and dawn said attack, then bunuery starts to flirt with pikachu, dawn quotes: buneury! i said to attack it, not flirt with it!) hope this helped!.......:-) oh and here for more proof            (they are the cutest couple ever!)

I have no idea, I can't tell the difference between a girl and boy pokemon.

Ppl keep saying that pikachu is voiced by a girl, well, I feel sorry for that person. Cuz all they get to say is "pica-CHU!" and basically say teh same thing a million times. I wonder how much she gets paid. ^^

But in the manga 'Pikachu Shocks Back' Pikachu falls in love with a girl pikachu, so I'd say boy. Plus in the new games, girl pikachus have heart-shaped tales.
