I scan my computer and something called downloader.trojan?

i got a trail verison of norton security scan and three of them pop up all i want 2 kno is what it mean and how do i get rid of it?

also i have to avg and ad-ware 2008 for info.

Norton should have given you options for remove, quarantine, ignore, etc. First try removing it. Some of them get into system files though, so it may not be able to remove it. If that's the case, quarantine the file. Take not of the actual file that it lists. After quarantining the file, go into Windows Explorer and delete it.

all i can tell you is trojans are REALLY bad!! you need to get rid of the quick smart! i think its when people can access your personal information on your computer and passwords and stuff. but im not 100% sure

You need to download spybot search and destroy.  It will help protect your computer from threats also.

I have avg free, spybot s&d, adware 2007.  With these, my comp stays pretty safe most of the time.

Spybot s&d might be able to get rid of the trojan.

After scan with norton trial version, save results to a file in my documents, from norton security menus.

then open this  .txt file & trace location of trojan file &

manually delete it.

Re-scan with AVG, & send virus entries to virus vault.(if virus found)

After scan delete virus entries from virus vault.
