is it possible to make the water soak into it and or remove the scoth guard protectant?

  1. They have special shampoos for this task. Call your local Caret  Cleaner rental places. They will help you best. If you do not want to do it yourself,call several Carpet Cleaner Shops in your area to obtain estimates.
