I scratched the top of my right eye while I was fixing my hair. This happened like a week ago. The next day, I chose to wear my contacts, but during the whole day, the contact in my right eye felt really uncomfortable. The next day, I didn't wear contacts, then the day after that I did, and it still kind of hurt.

I didn't wear them during this past weekend, and this morning, I tried them on. It seemed ok at first, but a couple of minutes later, my right eye was bugging me again.

What should I do?

  1. I had the same thing happen to me. When I went to the doctor, he said I scratched my cornea. He gave me antibiotic drops and told me not to wear my contacts until it healed. Go see your eye doctor.

  2. Try not wearing your contacts for a week straight. If they still bother you, you need to go to your eye doctor and get drops to moisten your eyes and reseal the scratch

  3. go get it checked out by your optician or something.

and also, don't wear your contacts if you scratched your eye.

it deprives them of oxygen, but yeah go see your eye specialist
