I sealed a bee hole with caulk in the side of my house?

I think they're carpenter bees. I caulked the 2 very small holes. My concern is that I didnt put any type of pesticide in the hole. Will they find a new hole to burrow out or just suffocate and die?

They will die.  Been there, done that.  Never saw an escape hole.

Hire a bee killer, they'll get the job done
