I search my Father Joseph, Laberge in Canada.?

Question

i am Priska Forsch from Germany. I search my Father Joseph, Andre, w. Laberge born on 22.04.1937 in Berthier, Joliette Quebec.

He was a Canadian soldier in Zweibrücken / Germany until 1960.

I was 1 Year old as my father go back to canada. I will only see him.

This is a very important affair for me. Please help me somebody.

You might have better luck contacting the town where he was born.  Joseph Laberge is a pretty common name in Quebec, sorry to tell you.  It won't be easy.

There is a show in Quebec called "Claire Lamarche" where she tries to reunite long lost friends/relatives.  You could ask if they'd be interested in adding him to their segment.  They also have a section on their website where the names and info can be added.

I went to school with someone name Joe Laberge.  He is too young to be your father, but perhaps he was named after his father.

I lived in Thunder Bay, Ontario, Canada.  Maybe you could start looking there.  Try seaching www.canada411.com for "Laberge" in Thunder Bay.
