I see a lot of 90's honda civic's in west orange i be thinking there calling out to me to get one is it true?

Honda's are great cars. If you can get one and keep up with maintaining it will take car of you. Plus I think they have a good re-sale value!

Your probably seeing a lot around because they are great, reliable cars that get really good gas mileage everywhere you go. Many of them get gas mileage in the high 30's, which is always a plus with today's gas prices going up and up.

As far as the models go, the LX and EX are pretty good. The DX is bare bones, no A/C, no power anything, cheap wheels, no special trim, etc. The LX is a basic car, comes with power locks and the like, looks a little better than the DX, and has A/C too with cruise. The EX is the "top of the line" Civic, with alloy wheels, power windows/locks/etc with upgraded interior trims and CD stereo.

The only reason i personally wouldn't buy one is because they get stolen like nobodies business. The 90's Civic's always top the list of most stolen cars, primarily because there are so many of them and their parts are in high demand. Also also because of the fact that they are pretty easy to steal, no immobilizer. Most of the Civics that get stolen are stripped down to parts in no time and sold off that way.

You can get a really good late 90's civic for about $4,000-$5,000 right now. Which is pretty good when you consider its really reliable and many get around 36+mpg highway. Just make sure its been well maintained if you want one, an ill maintained one will cost you hundreds if not thousands easily. I've seen well maintained ones go past 300,000 with no major problems though.
