I see color slightly different that others.

Question

Like say, if my friend calls an object blue, then usually I call it purple. But everyone else agrees that it's blue, even though it's right between the two.

If something's colored sorta like mustard, then I might call it slightly orange while everyone else calls it yellow.

I am told this means I'm color blind, or slightly color blind at least.

Does anyone have any insight as to whether I am or not? And if I am is it enough to keep me from flying planes?

That's really interesting.  But there's something I don't understand.

If you have had that sight thing since you were a child, wouldn't you think that the slight orange color was yellow since that was how it was taught to you?

And unfortunately, it sounds like it may be severe enough to prevent you from flying planes.

I do that too! Like when ppl say something is royal blue it's purple to me. I had wondered if other ppl were like that too. I need to remember to ask my eye doctor about that next time.

no u can still fly planes although u r slightly color blind.... u won't need to figure out wheather the cloud is blue or purple in the sky! hehe....go to the doctor just to double check
