  2. "I assume it has been scientifically tested?"

Well, no.  For a start, there is no evidence whatsoever for the existence of such things as "negative energies", so it is very difficult to test anything to remove them.

    .

  3. Until science has a way to prove to itself the presence of spirits.. testing of anything "scientifically "  having to do with that is impossible.  But as for myself, I use sage by smudging and I also grow it inside my home and on my property as well.  I believe it cleanses my energy.

  4. Does that so called sage does it free or for some money. Here you are.

  5. Oh, most certainly.  There are plenty of plants out there that have been shown to have positive effects on a house when burned.  For example, I have heard of plant called canubiss that, when burned in significant quantities, can create a really groovy atmosphere.

  6. It have been scientifically tested , sage ia good to remove negative energies

  7. Maybe sage reminds the spirits of Thanksgiving & the turkey cooking (seasoned with sage)..and it makes them happy. So they remember their families and go to the light to look for them. (I just can't imagine any other reason sage would have any effect on them. It's not like it smells bad...and really doesn't smell that good.) I think it's just a "memory" thing.

  8. Cleansing is a magickal property of sage.

  9. LOL, scientifically tested!  :)   That's a good one. This also makes me laugh since "negative energies" don't have nasal passages or olfactory senses to smell anything. Like I said in another question, burning sage is as effective as burning anything, which is just as effective as burning nothing at all.

  10. I think it's about as effective as burning microwave popcorn.

Then again, maybe if these "New Age"-ers lived in the Amazon and were told that burning monkey hides would prevent evil spirits from entering their grass hutches, they'd practice that too.

You have to admit, their superstitions and "practices" make for a good debate.
