  1. Their just like personalized plates (vanity plates).  Depending on the make/vintage of the vehicle.  You pay not only registration but a yearly fee for them.

  2. its just a vanity things. I'm sure they have an american one on the back. I've seen that many times

  3. They're called vanity plates. You can order them offline. Here is one of the websites. http://www.licenseplates.tv/index.php I think you may be able to order them another way but i forget. Or maybe just take ur car on a vaca.

  4. I shipped cars home with foreign plates when I was still in the military. Some were American cars I took over there and by the way, GI's can buy American vehicles overseas, use them there then ship them home when they return to the states.

  5. The ones I have seen have been shipped here!  They are from US Military Members that were stationed overseas.  They had their car shipped her after their assignment!  It takes some time to register a car from another country, so you see the running around with the odd plates for a few months!

  6. oh you can buy the European license plate styles here. you can get one here http://www.autogeek.net/europlates.html , i know someone that has one too. Its about $25 the frame is $17

  7. If you have enough money,, You can do what you want.

  8. Well if you wanna travel to another country for a while and you want to take your car too, then you can ship it there with a speacial plane or boat

(when they go on vacation here, they bring their car with them so they dont have to rent)

  9. if there military and have been across seas then they can have the plates. If they go transfered back to the us  then the military will ship there car here. If im not misstaken they dont have to transfer plates. i think

  10. Illegal, unless it is on the front of their car.  You can put almost anything there.

  11. well the plates were, if they are european... enough said.
