I see the number 316 all the time. ?

I see the number 316 all the time. Can anyone tell me what it means? Please. I see it on the clock all the time. I saw it once on a license plate (just plain 316). Once I put in a cd in my car stereo and the 1st song started skipping at exactly 316. Recently I saw it in a movie (88 Minutes - with Pacino). So I ask again. Can anyone out there tell me what it means, because I don't know and its driving me nuts. Thank you all.
