I see thousands of flashing white lights in front of my eyes... help?

Question

Uno when u look at the sky - or a bright light...and u can see like tiny white dots thousands of them as if ur vision is pixelated,...well i see them all the time bright light or not, cant remember how long its been like this but i dnt think its ever been this noticeable can anyone suggest what this could be and please don't say to me go to see an eye doctor or wateva because i have an appointment booked just need to no if its serious and if i should go sooner please help.....

(also i see floaters, more in my left than my right eye...if this makes any difference)

You may have a tearing retina and if you don't get this checked, it may eventually lead to detatchment leaving you blind in that eye. You definently want to get this checked.

its probably fine....just becuase your eyes are a little unusual dosent mean they are damaged.....no pain is a good sign and you dont say your vision is impaired at all. Just wait for your appointment and chill out....it will be fine im sure.Its porbabaly just a quirk of your particular pair of eyes, dosent mean its bad though. I see floaters all the time as well and when I am in bed they become different colours like red and green and yellow!! im lying in the dark looking at all these different colours!!....and the doc said it was just a qirk of my eyes and not in anyway a sign of damage.

i get that too and all the time when i look at the sun, do you get it after looking at the sun and every time you blink you see it, im quite sure it isnt seriouse, but if the pixilation gets worse, maybe you should spend less time in front of like computer screens and tv.s ,thats my suggestion, not saying its right, and dont go doing what people might suggest until you look it up ; )
