  1. Well, to respond to Julia and J-Boss, yes, I can imagine getting woken up every three hours or so, just before falling into a deep sleep -- it's called "HAVING A BABY IN THE HOUSE."

If this is the sum total of the "torture," then I'll take it any day over what these same guys would have done to us if they captured us.

  2. They didn't mention the use of the Comfy Chair -

  3. It's a comparatively mild form of torture (sleep deprivation) but it is torture nonetheless.

  4. It's not the moving between cell to cell that they considered torture.  It's the fact that he was "moved every three hours to different cells to deprive him of sleep and familiar cell mates" that they considered torture.

I for one love my sleep.  Can you imagine someone waking you up "every" time you were about to fall into some good ole fashion deep sleep?

  5. This is another example of bleeding heart Liberals at their best.

  6. I'm believe you need to go back and re-read.

They moved him from cell to cell every three hours to deprive him of sleep. I do believe that that counts as physical torture. Stopping him from being in a familiar place, tortured him mentally.

I don't know if you've ever experienced not being allowed to sleep for more than three hours at a time but I can guarantee it isn't pleasant after a while at all.

  7. They will not be satisfied until we let all terrorists loose with full American rights to blow up whatever they want and kill whoever they want.  Little do they suspect that they will be first on the list.
