My period started on the 12th July, and lasted for nearly a week..

I have a 34 day cycle (most of the time).. I should be due to ovulate this week, but i have no change in cervical mucus whatsoever.

Doing the baby dance hurts at the moment, my cervix feels very soft and tender, my b*****s hurt and nipples are extra sensitive. I have also had the headaches and flucuating temperature.. But i am concerned as i haven't had the EWCM, does that mean that this month i have no chance of conceiving?

  1. Whats EWCM?

You will ovulate and if your ttc your body could be all over the place with stress etc...

Your mucus will change just give it another couple of days, i didn't always ovulate around the same time, some months were like clockwork others weren't

We have no idea of knowing if you'll conceive this month but keep baby dancing anyway and if s*x is hurting at the minute you might have a slight infection or something, go to your practice nurse and get a swab taken to make sure your ok

    Good luck

  2. That is funny. Yes, your egg can be released at anytime during the month and vary from month to month. Just keep having sexual intimacy every three or four days throughout the month until your next period.

You may be pregnant now. You can pregnancy test 7 days after a missed or short period for the most accuracy. Best wishes, G

  3. Sounds you're having some of the symptoms of pregnancy especially the tender b*****s unless you have that before your period.  I always had tender/sore b*****s in early pregnancy.

I never really noticed any changes around ovulation.  I just didn't really bother trying to keep up with bodily changes to indicate ovulation.  Such a hassle and hard for me to determine.  I just used the calendar to pinpoint ovulation and hoped for the best.

  4. LOL

It is normal to not have EWCM.  Some women never get it and still have kids.  Not having it this month doesn't mean that you didn't ovulate... or that you didn't conceive either.  Maybe you are just having an off cycle, and that happens.  Maybe you did conceive o.O

Ya never know until ya test, which is what I would be doing!
