I seen a bug that looks like a piece of cotton, know what it is?

I live in ohio, and I seen a few of these little guys this year, heres a picture I took, anyone know what itis?

It looks like a mealybug. Nasty little pests on plants.

Check out the web site below - What's That Bug? They have a huge database of photos to look through. I'd start with the flies lists for yours. If you can't find your bug there, send them an email with your photo and as much info as you can give them (area, where you saw the bug, what kind of plant it was on or whatever), and they might help you out. A tip: They are more likely to try to help you if you ask nicely or are really funny.
