I sell Avon and would like your opinion on a sales contest Im starting?

The contest is to enter for a chance to win a 25.00 Gas card. Each item you purchase enter's your name in. One winner per month. What do you think?

  2. I haven't found that giving anything away really increases my sales whether is products, discounts, samples etc.  Despite that fact, I like the sound of this one.  You might say Buy AVON, Save Gas and WIN Gas too!

    I would limit that contest to any order over $25 and an extra chance for each $25 increment (not each item purchased).  So that if you spend $50 you get 2 chances...$75 3 chances etc.  If someone were to buy 10 $1 items and get 10 chances to win that really doesnt help you.

    A supermarket had a promotion running that if you purchased $75 in certain products you got a free $25 gas card.  I know I tried and failed.  I didn't go out of my way to buy the products involved in the promotion but bought those that I did use and were on sale at the time and hoped for the best.  I ended up spending $200 at the store anyway.

    It sounds like a pretty good idea and one I might use myself
