Question:

I send my package for OCS Navy and am waiting for answer what happens if I say no?

I was ofered a Federal jobs for May that will be the time that I will be going to OCS. I have to answer the job but I have not recived a answer from the Navy. I have a masters in Managment and they pay the same.

  2. Did you sign the papers already? I'm assuming you signed your name a ton if you sent the package, and one of those papers is saying you will go if you get selected, but you do not have to take the comissoion once it is completed.  Cause if you did then yes, you need to go. The only way you can get out of it is failing the pft.

  3. If you say no to OCS, you will not be able to be an officer in the Navy. There will be a record that you were offered a commission and turned it down. If you apply again, that will really hurt you. Take the job. Then if you are offered the OCS position, think about if you can take it or not. Maybe you will hate this job. Or maybe you won't be offered a position. Who knows.
