I sent in my tax on early June, when do u think i can get the refund and the rebate check?

i did ask for extension because i wasn't done by April 15. without knowing when the money will arrive i can't plan my summer vacation ahead. anyone knows how long i need to wait more?

6-8 weeks and the rebate will follow by 2-3 weeks afterwards.

maybe end of july or early or mid august at the latest,doubt it'll be any longer than that.

At this time IRS is trying to get caught up processing all the 2007 returns and it is taking 4-8 weeks from the date IRS receives the the return.

You should have your refund and stimulus by mid July.

That is if you are in full compliance with the IRS, all your returns from 2002 thru 2006 must be filed. IF you have any missing tax returns then IRS will hold your refunds/rebate until you file all your tax returns.

Don't figure on having it for a summer vacation, it will probably take until September for your refund, a little later for your rebate.
