  1. For the sound make sure all of the plugs are in fully.

Or if your 360 is plugged in to the tv go to the

    dashboard>console settings>

then check to see you don't have the sound set to surround sound or something in stead of mono or stereo.

The purple tint is probably a mis setting in your tv.  Try going to your menu for your tv and lower the "blue" in the picture.

    Hopes this works.

  2. Chenge to chanell one up or down some TV chanell reseive to Xbox but not well

  3. Might be an internal setting on the 360 or a TV setting that you have to change. Check your TV manual. I know for certain video signals, you have to switch the color scheme setting from like RGB to the other one (I think it's something like Pnyop or whatever), or the other way around.

  4. Sounds like a bad or lose cable....have you tried a different set of cables or a different TV?

  5. On the Xbox 360 cord there's a switch for HDTV.

Make sure you have that switched.

    And mine's done that before.

Because I didn't have the red, yellow, white, green, and blue wires plugged in the right places.

You probably have one of those switched around or something.

  6. make sure the hd cables are in the right place. and u also have to plug in the other cables too. You dont plug the yellow in one. Thats it and it should work. As for purple check tv
