I shave my chest hair and sometimes i get irritation. Any way around this?

i use an electric shaver and sometimes i get red bumps for a while.

Well use a shaving cream too and try using that one razor that has the soap attached to the top ( i kno its for girls but it will help)

i have to shave all my body hair for swimming, except i dont use an electric shaver.. i just use shaving cream and a normal razer... that might work...

I have the same red bumps some times... use shaving cream and run your razor under HOTT water before use..

you should try hair removal creams like nair or veet...it leaves it smooth with no irritation...or try shaving creams

Try waxing your chest hairs insted, Girls dont like it when guys shave becuse they get prickley so if you wax it the hairs will be thinner after afew times. I hope i helped =]

Most swimmers and bodybuilders use wax for hair removal.  It lasts longer  than shaving and doesn't leave stubble or cause irritation.

There are also permanent hair removal ways too.

They have the electroalsys where they electrocute each hair so it doesn't grow back.  And they have laser treatments.

Take a really hot shower, 5 min minimum to open the pores.  Use shaving cream and a regular razor.  When you're done exfoliate the area using a body scrub and then use a moisturizer.

You could try a different razor like one with soap as stated or just leave them alone or just trim them. You'll have razor bumps if you shave because it's cutting the hair, and irritates the skin for a small while. Hope this helps.
