I shaved down "there" for the 1st time and I got ingrown hairs! Can anyone tell me what to do (details below)!

I used my acne wash on the area because I heard salicylic acid would free the hair. I also have used a retinoid and taking an oral antibiotic (cephalexin). It still has not cleared up. Can anyone tell me what to do?

Scrub with washcloth or loofah to free the hairs.  This may be uncomfortable but should not be painful.  If you do it again, scrub area every time you shower or bath to prevent it from happening again.

Leave it alone and they should eventually come out.  If they don't, sharp pointed tweezers should help pull them out of the skin.

Also, moisturizing the area with lotion regularly will help prevent that if you do it again.
