  1. Since tetanus shots last for about 10 years, you're more than fine.

  2. Your shot is good for 7 years, so you'll be fine in that respect at least.

  3. You are more than likely ok as far as tetanus goes.  Most likely your skin will simply heal within a few hours, with no untoward side effects or infection.

The fact that the razor was rusty does not imply that you will get tetanus from it.  If it was in a relatively clean area, chances are that it doesn't have the tetanus bacteria on it.  On the other hand, it probably had an assortment of other bacteria. Your body generally handles these well and without a lot of fanfare.  If it didn't, you would not have survived this long.

  4. you should be ok, but if you're worried you could go see your doctor, just for peace of mind.

  5. You will not contract Tetanus from rust.

Edit; Thank you to the idiots that gave me the thumbs down. Rust is a combination of Iron and Oxygen, both commonly occurring elements within the human body.

My suggestion to you is forget about Yahoo Answers, do your school work and then make informed judgment.

  6. ouch! just keep an eye on it and throw out the razor (!). if you feel pain or see any infection, contact your doctor

  7. Call the funeral home...thanks for the two points!

  8. that's why you should use disposable razors
