I signed @ Yahoo, I live in USA, but I got Yahoo Singapore(english), can I change this to plain Yahoo?

I was invited to sign in to Yahoo through an email. I joined. I live in the USA and put that info in my address info. Yet when I got my "welcome to yahoo" page, it says Yahoo, Singapore and my email address is @yahoo.com.sg rather then just @yahoo.com. Can someone tell me how I correct this, or if it is even possible? I already completed my customize setup before I noticed.

try to login and send emails.... i went through the situation u mentioned... but don't know why, I can used back @yahoo.com...

I`ve never heard of being able to swap. Actually it is fun having an out of country email address. What gets me they asked for your zip code. Didn`t they? Well there`s your way back if they want an explanation.
