  1. You should consult an attorney.  Your question isn't specific enough to get a correct answer from anyone on this site.

  2. Also called a Disclaimer Deed.  You have to sign if you are married but he wants to have the house for himself --- like if he were spending an inheritance he received and was all his. Or when couples are divorcing and don't want to live together or have their names together any more.

In theory, if your house has $200,000 equity and you sign this deed to him,  the $200,000 all belongs to him.  YOu voluntarily gave it to him.  The courts don't care.  Maybe he is giving you 2 brand new Mercedes cars in return.

Usually this deed is done on a home that is being purchased.  That is probably what you did.  Not a problem. Everyone does it.

  3. now that you know you signed away your rights to your home, try to undo your deed.

if you signed under duress, the contract may be voidable.  there are other possibilities - explore them with a lawyer.  all is not (yet) lost. if a lawyer assisted you with this transfer deed, get a different lawyer immediately.

it is unconscionable that you were permitted to sign this without understanding what you were signing.

  4. You gave away your community property rights to that specific property. Which he can sell at any time without your permission and keep every drop of equity. This was not a smart thing to do on your part. Sorry.
