I signed up for a YA group and it is showing my name. How do I get it to stop showing my name?

Change your name.  That way the one that shows up is no longer your name.

Click messenger top left in the messenger window.  scroll down and click my contact details. make your changes, click save and close.

you back space it out on your profile under real name and nick name and also go to My Account and back space it out of there

Is it showing your name from your email address? or your yahoo profile?  

To change your profile info, you need to sign into yahoo, and go to my account. then you need to look to the right, where it says public information, edit/create profiles, click there. Find the yahoo id that you are using for that group, and click edit, then find edit profile information, click there. Where it says REAL NAME, delete whatever is in that box, and it will just use your profile name, or retype something else, and it will use that.

If it's using info from your email address name, you'll have to change your name inside your email address (the FROM field) its under options, mail options. on the left, youll click accounts, add or edit an account, and follow the links..
