They told me that all I needed to pay for were the taxes (about $100) but i needed to get to Florida where it was departing from within the next 18 months. I asked them what the catch was and they said all I needed to do was spread the word and tell people how much I enjoyed the trip, thats it. Do I take the trip or is there more to it that they arent telling me?

  1. They are asking for money, for a "free" trip you "won". You will never have to pay taxes to some company, only to the government, and that would occur far after the trip. Don't send them any money or information. And this cruise can depart whenever you arrive in 18 months? come on.

  2. this is a very old and well known scam. at some point you will find out the catch, probably after it's too late.

  3. if you really won a prize, why would you have to pay taxes? it could be for real, because a lot of cruises make all their money on food drinks and entertainment more then the ticket price. :) there's an easy way to find out tho, get a phone number! call, talk, ask questions, and check with the better business bureau. if it is for real, congratulations :)

  4. idk, from who did u win, some of those people could be scamming u, there are some u can trust and some u can't...

  5. Follow it up, as soon as they ask you for any kind of bank or credit card details or other pertinent personal details, then back out....

  6. TAKE THE TRIP

  7. If they ask for a credit card number, then the company is not legit - be aware and do not get scammed!! It happens so much now so be careful!

  8. well first of all this is the internet we r talking about!  people make jokes and beleive me  they will say its for free and like 2 months afteer the trip they will say  take out 5.000 bucks!  I say dont trust them or if u want u should ask them if theres a charrge  caz ther must be a twist to it and find out if they r a big company  sometimes they might be rite if they are a big famous comapnay and also when you fill otu the information like address and name and that stuff for the trip check if they ask u  4 ur credit card number or anything related caz then it means its not free   hope i helped

  9. Check up on the ship. Then ask the company owns and operates the vessel if the ticket you won is valid.

Might try asking a travel agent for assitance.

  10. Do not, it did not pass "smell test"

  11. no do not take it!

instead give the tickets 2 me! and ill suffer 4 u
